Nintendo News for 9/4-9/9

Lego Worlds Release
Lego Worlds was released for the Nintendo Switch on September 5th. It has been released on multiple other platforms beside the Switch and it has received generally good reviews. The focus of the game is for the player to create an open world with his or her imagination, much like in real life with Lego sets. It has mechanics similar to that of Disney Infinity’s Toy Box. As a special bonus for buying the game physically for the Switch, it will include the Classic Space and Monsters DLC packs. The Monsters DLC is set to release for October. The game is at a retail price of $39.99.

Metroid News
With the upcoming release of Metroid Samus Returns, new rewards on My Nintendo are now available to redeem. Two of these promos include exclusive Metroid wallpaper for the 3DS or Metroid for the 3DS/Wii U for 50% off. Metroid: Samus Returns is set for the release date of September 15 and will retail for $39.99. There will be a special edition version of the game that will retail for $49.99. A special edition Samus Aran New 3DS Xl will also release alongside the game as well. Finally, a dual amiibo pack featuring Samus Aran and a Metroid will be released.

Special Ash Pikachu Distribution
Beginning September 19th, Pokémon players can obtain a special Pikachu wearing a cap from each region. The regions included are Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and Alola. Its theorized that each Pikachu will have their move set go along with their move set featured in the Pokémon anime saga. For example, the Kalos Pikachu will know Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, and Electro Ball. If this is the case, it will match the distribution that happened earlier this year in Japan. There is one small catch though. You can only pick one of the Pikachu offered, so choose wisely. The serial codes can be found on the official Pokémon website beginning September 19th till October 30th.

Later in the year free DLC will be released, helping you unlock new items that will help you on your adventure.

More Mega Stones for Pokémon Sun & Moon
A new global distribution for Pokémon Sun and Moon has begun and it features some new Mega Stones not previously available in the game. The Mega Stones are for Mega Latias, Latios, Ampharos and Altaria. The code to redeem these Mega Stones is DRACHE. These games are set in the region of Johto, where you might encounter Ho-Oh or Lugia, depending on which version you plan on getting. These games plan to go on sale for $9.99 each. I personally plan on getting Pokémon Gold.
Also releasing alongside of these Gold and Silver is Pokken Tournament DX for the Switch. This Pokken will feature new characters such as Darkrai and Decidueye. Basically, this will be a port over from the Wii U’s Pokken Tournament with a few new features added in. The game will retail for $59.99.

Well, that is all for this week folks, so until next time,
William
