An update was released for Super Mario Odyssey on the 21st and it includes some great new gameplay features.

There are two modes to this challenge: “Hide It” and “Find It”. Hide It mode is when you hide a balloon throughout the kingdom. Find It is when you try to find the balloons hidden by other players. While doing so, the duo stumbles upon a case of rampaging Pokémon. The Pokémon of Ryme City are on a rampage and Mewtwo seems to know something about it. Good thing Detective Pikachu seems to already know Mewtwo. Or is that the other way around? Anyhow, the duo must solve the case by asking help from people and Pokémon. Nintendo Weekly News February 12th-16th

Welcome back to your regularly scheduled news! Today’s weekly update is brought to you by Google Cardboard…. err…. I mean Nintendo Labo.

Nintendo Labo
The latest and newest invention from Nintendo is…. a cardboard box. Well not exactly. Some new details have been revealed for it, so let’s dive into it.

Nintendo Labo is essentially a cardboard box that can turn into lots of great and cool innovations. The cardboard items work with the Switch and more specifically, the Joy-Cons. The items are called Toy-Cons. The Toy-Cons work in-game to play different games. Nintendo Labo is sold in two packs, and each pack makes something different.

First up is the Robot Kit. The Robot Kit builds a wearable Toy-Con Robot suit to control a giant in-game robot. You can customize and level up the robot by customizing the Toy-Con suit.

The next kit is the Variety Kit. This kit is able to make a Toy-Con Piano, Toy-Con Motorbike, Toy-Con Fishing Rod, Toy-Con House, and Toy-Con RC Cars. Each Toy-Con interacts with the Switch to play a different game.

Nintendo Labo will release on April 20th. The Variety Kit will retail for $69.99 and the Robot Kit will retail for $79.99. Here is a link to the Nintendo Labo website for more details.
