Today’s weekly round-up of news is brought to you by
Bowser’s minions and their vengeance against Fawful.
Pokémon Ultra Moon/Sun News
On October 5th, some new Pokémon Ultra Sun/Moon news was released.
To begin, the Ultra Wormholes found in Ultra Sun/Moon play an even bigger role than they did in Sun/Moon. Using the Legendary Pokémon
Solgaleo and Lunala, you can now travel through the wormholes to different
worlds. Each world you travel to is the habitat of an Ultra Beast. However, the
world of Ultra Megalopolis is a world where the light was stolen by Necrozma.
Then, there is the mysterious group known as the Ultra Recon
Squad. Their true purpose is not known for now, however it is known that they
live in a world beyond an Ultra Wormhole. Depending on which version of the
game you buy, you will see a different duo from the Squad.
Finally, there are 3 new Ultra Beasts that appear in Ultra Sun/Moon. One of them is called UB
Adhesive. This Ultra Beast is a Poison type. Then, if you purchase Ultra Sun, you’ll encounter UB Burst. That
Ultra Beast is a Fire and Ghost type with a new move called Mind Blown. In Ultra Moon, you’ll encounter UB
Assembly. This particular Ultra Beast is a Rock and Steel type.

2DS XL is white and orange colored, which is perfect to match this fall season.
The 2DS XL is amiibo compatible and due to the XL size, it is about 82% larger
than an ordinary 2DS. The console retails for $149.99.
Mario & Luigi: SuperStar Saga + Bowser’s Minions
Release
On October 6th, my all-time favorite game
re-released for the 3DS. In Mario &
Luigi: SuperStar Saga, we travel back to Beanbean Kingdom to save Princess
Peach’s voice from Cackletta and Fawful. The game has been enhanced digitally
and some new bits have been added in.
In addition to this, a new mode called Bowser’s Minions has been added to the game. In this mode, Bowser’s
minions are trying to fight back against Fawful and try to save their Koopa
King. You can control over 50 different types of minions and use combo attacks
to defeat enemies. You can also use the Koopa Troopa and Goomba amiibo to
unlock special stamps, equipment, and bonus content. The game retails for

Super Mario Odyssey Tour
Starting on October 10th, Mario is going on tour!
To celebrate the launch of Super Mario
Odyssey, Nintendo will be doing a trip from Los Angeles to New York City
with Mario’s decked out trailer. Starting in Los Angeles, fans will get to take
pictures with Mario, visit his trailer, and play Super Mario Odyssey. The trailer will stop at various locations
throughout the US and a list can be found in this
article. Ultimately, the trailer will arrive to New York City on the 27th
to coincide with release of the game.
That
was all for this week folks, so I hope to “see” you next week!
