Today’s weekly news update is brought to you by the releases of multiple games and their release on November 10th

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct

Here are some highlights from the direct:

  • Throughout the world of Alrest, there will be shining points called Collection Points where players can scavenge for hard to find treasures

  • Fans can pre-purchase an Expansion Pass for even more quests and support items. There will even be a Battle Mode where players can battle powerful enemies. The pass will be $29.99

  • A new DLC for LoZ: Breath of the Wild will include the main character Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the DLC will include a side quest to better know him

The full direct can be viewed here. The game is due for release on December 1st for the Nintendo Switch.

Master Ball Reward
For those people who find joy at finding the Master Ball in Pokémon games, you now have a chance to get a second Master Ball!

If you sign up for the Pokémon Global Link before January 30th, you can get a Master Ball via a serial code that will be sent to you by the end of January. This is pretty great news, but like every hardcore fan, we prefer to not use the Master Ball. Ever.

DOOM Release
First of all this game is rated M, so be warned. Second, the game released on November 10th

The game is a first person shooter and your targets are hordes of demons. It is a hardcore game with little time to rest and recover. You have an arsenal of weapons at your disposal. Each weapon has its unique advantage over certain creatures. You can also play as a demon in other modes within the game.

The game is retailing for $59.99 and is available on the eShop and in local game stores.

Mario Party: The Top 100 Release
On November 10th, a brand new Mario Party released for the 3DS.

Mario Party: The Top 100 features minigames games from across the partying years. You can play against friends via local wireless or go party by yourself at Minigame Island. You can challenge friends in matches of 3 to 10 games or on a game board. You can also scan in amiibo to restore life points or score bonuses on the island.

The game retails for $39.99 and is available now.

Snipperclips Plus Release
Also released on November 10th, Snipperclips Plus launched for the Switch.

Following Snipperclips, Snipperclips Plus gives the player brand new worlds and new puzzles. In the game you must snip and cut to make new shapes in order to complete the puzzle. You can work with a friend to solve unique puzzles or go at it solo.

The game retails for $29.99 but if you already own Snipperclips you can purchase the DLC for $9.99 and it will include all the latest features.

Legend of Zelda amiibo
Last but definitely not least, the latest amiibo have arrived.

The LoZ: Breath of the Wild amiibo have been released into the wild and are ready to use in game. The amiibo help unlock some special items unique to the amiibo. The amiibo are in hot demand, but it seems as though the Daruk and Mipha amiibo are healthy stock. However, the Revali amiibo seems to sell out fast, so good luck finding that one.

Each amiibo retails for $15.99 each.

Before we wrap up this week, a special new Z-Move was announced for a very special and somewhat creep Pokemon: Mimikyu!
Every ones favorite Pikachu imposter now has a special Z-Move called Let’s Snuggle Forever. As you can see, the name says it all. Here is footage of the creepy technique. FYI, your Mimikyu must know Play Rough to use this move.

Well, that all for this week, so I hope to “see” you next week!
